Position Purpose
At Cambay Consulting our consultants work closely with a wide range of clients around the globe to deliver exceptional experiences by helping them identify their business pains, then turning around to develop and implement useful and relevant technology-based solutions to meet those needs. Utilizing the Cambay Consulting 360 model as a guide, our consultants take clients on a journey through strategy, implementation, customization, and support, ensuring exceptional customer experience at every step of the way. As an Alliance Manager you will Manage and grow the Microsoft Partnership through working with Cambay leadership to design and execute the strategy and business plan of the Microsoft partnership with focus on market penetration, revenue growth, solution identification, and industry alignment.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and grow the Microsoft Partnership through working with Cambay leadership to design and execute the strategy and business plan of the Microsoft partnership with focus on market penetration, revenue growth, solution identification, and industry alignment.
- Work directly with Microsoft and Cambay leadership to identify and develop focused GTM solutions that are compatible with Cambay strategy and will generate incremental revenue to Cambay.
- Consistently message the Microsoft Partnership value proposition and strategic direction internally and externally, and proactively align opportunities/activities with identified goals.
- Build key relationships with the Microsoft Executives “sell with” team (e.g., SVP of Partnerships, C-level, etc.) and serve as strategic relationship point of contact for the Microsoft Partnership.
- Identify additional synergies between Microsoft and Cambay to expand the partnership program throughout the network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on executing Microsoft partnership initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute an annual business planning session and ongoing planning workshops with Microsoft and Cambay leaders to drive ongoing alignment.
- Ensure Microsoft partner status & contracts are maintained;
- Drive demand in the market, identifying potential opportunities sourced from Microsoft while contributing to key pursuits.
- Identify potential account revenue/sell-with opportunities sourced from Microsoft
- Forecast and help facilitate joint go-to-market plays between Microsoft and Cambay.
- Provide oversight and advise the sales team in targeted direction of the Microsoft business strategy for relevant opportunities.
- Drive Microsoft partnership sales and marketing campaigns that differentiate Cambay to drive incremental revenue and that make sure that follow-up activities are executed successfully; and,
- Meet regularly with Microsoft to attest marketing and sales campaigns as valuable and effective.
- Communicate MS partnership progress, issues, and expectations, take corrective actions whenever necessary.
- Own the relationship map and drive and monitor cadence meetings.
- Manage all reporting requirements and drive the execution of all compliance activities associated with the relationship.
- Monitor and gauge performance metrics such as pipeline and revenue; and,
- Manage the partnership budget and ensure strategic prioritization of spend.
- Support all licensing queries internally for our clients and addressing support programs, as well as an ability to articulate the business benefits of such products
- Support Cambay’s efforts through Microsoft CSP partnership program
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field preferred.
- Experience managing and operating large-scale partnership program is preferred; proven build practitioner.
- Technical delivery experience and/or deep knowledge of Microsoft technology, product offerings,
- Knowledge of partnership management processes and best practices.
- Minimum of 3-5+ years’ experience working with relevant Microsoft technologies in a professional services environment.
- Experience working within a partner channel, preferably the Microsoft Partner Network

Employee could be required to travel to business and customer locations, locally and/or nationally up to 30%.
